Have you considered buying a new or refurbished fishing reel? Sometimes, in order to have a higher price or more fishing reel quality that is manufactured in composite materials, aluminum, products such as graphite or carbon that the stealth bomber is made of, you must purchase used. Mainly because a new coil much.Well costs too I do not know about you, but buying a fishing reel with a guys who loved this reel in the garage for several years is no comfort to me. Who knows where it was stored or if it really works as good as it says it does.
I prefer to buy a fishing reel that has been used part is then returned to the manufacturing company because they did not like it, or something on the reel did not exercise properly.The nice thing about buying a refurbished fishing reel is that they are returned to the company that makes the coil to get rehabilitated or simply inspection to make sure its OK to sell. They may need to replace a part that malfunctioned or just needs an adjustment. Sometimes the coils are refurbished returns of large retail stores, which serve as models for display. It may have been nothing wrong with that at all, its just been opened or manipulated by potential customers. Manufacturing can not sell the returned item as a new roll longer, so they sell them as used or refurbished. I also discovered that many reels are returned to close out inventory or overstock items at the end of a season. Usually these coils are in great shape. They may have scratches or tiny dents or paint peeled, but they work correctly. If they do not they return with a guarantee of 90 days! At least the roller refurbished, I was in contact with do. I would not buy one without it.
I also learned that a coil renovated, is only sold yet, so it had no internal damage. That the coils are not resold. That is comforting to know. Now it means buying a used fishing reel! Another advantage is that you can buy a refurbished fishing reel at about 30% more or less new. Plus you get a warranty that backs its quality and condition reconditioned directly from manufacturing. It's better than taking a chance buying a used coil from the garage of someone without any warranty. So, the next time you need a new fishing reel, do not forget to look at the refurbished person. Maybe you can get a spool of better quality than you originally were going to buy the same money you spend on a new one. At least take a eye on them and see what is there. Make sure you are getting a guarantee of workmanship. Good fishing!
